DT Post - A Beautiful Mess - May Challenge - Always anything goes :)

Hello Everyone,

Welcome Back!!

It's time for another challenge at "A Beautiful Mess" where always theme is "anything goes". This challenge is sponsored by "Delicious Doodles". I got to work with Monarch Butterfly. They have wonderful images..you can visit them here.

Over to my card:

For this card , i have created the background by using STAMPlorations Shutters Stencil and Artistry Ink by Shilpi ( colors - Rosy Cheeks and Tenacious Teal). Then fussy cut the monarch butterfly image, colored it with artistry ink and  added some pixie dust from Pie lane . Finished my card by heat embossing the sentiment with black embossing powder from Docarft Papermania and splattered it with artistry ink and black acrylic.

DT Post - Crafty Creations Challenges - Doodled Details

Helloo Crafty Friends,

Here, i am back with another challenge at  Crafty Creations Challenges and  the theme for this fortnight challenge is doodled details... so take your pen out and start doodling something... :).. and  for this challenge our wonderful sponsor is Fresh Brewed. They have such a cute cute images , i am sure you would love to play with them.You can visit their blog and facebook page, "where creativity is brewed fresh daily" ( i really love their tagline :)).

Here is my card:

For this card, i have created the grass background by distress ink using torn paper. Then i doodled  some clouds, sun , flowers and butterflies with the sketch pen and colored it with distress ink. Then i fussy cut this cute snail image from fresh brewed (Bug section), colored it with distress inks and added to my card background with double sided tape to give some dimension.Finally added some white sequins and handwritten sentiment.Hope you liked it.

Mixed Media Canvas - Just BLOOM

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are doing great!

Here is my quick post, I am sharing a mixed media canvas which I have made couple of days back. Over to my canvas:

And here is how I made it.

1. I covered the the canvas with thin layer of gesso and once it dried, i added some pattern paper using modge podge to give some texture.

2. Next I painted over it with my fingers using acrylics paint ( color used - Teal and Royal Blue) till i satisfied with the background.

3. After that i added some texture using modelling paste and faber castell stencil ( i added crimson red acrylic color to the modelling paste to give it a color) .

4. Once everything was dried, I stamped it with some flourishes and circles using memento black ink

5. Then Added die cut flowers from Sizzix die and hand cut leaves, colored the flowers with gold acrylic paint and leaves with green acrylic. Glued wooden butterfly which was covered with pie lane's pixie dust.

6. Then i have added the BLOOM sentiment using modelling paste and alphabet stencil, once dried, I have added white pixie dust over it.

7.Finished it by adding dot stencil randomly with the gold acrylic paint.

8. Finally i covered the whole thing with a coat of mod podge and it was done :).

Inlaid Die cutting - Birthday Card

Hello Everybody!!

I know everybody is looking forward to weekend...me tooo..;)

Here is my quick post. I made this card to play along with couple of challenges..

Finally tried inlaid die cutting technique.For this card, i have made the background using Faber Castell stencil and  distress ink. Then on smaller sized card stock, i put my butterfly and flourish dies and inked it with distress inks and finally heat embossed the sentiment and added some sequins.

One Layer Stenciled Card..

Hello Everyone!!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Here i am sharing a quick one layer card  and  i am playing along with CASEplorations with STAMPlorations girls and CASEing following card of Shery Russ.

Here is my card and first attempt to one layer card..seriously i controlled myself to add some other layers in form embellishment...he he he..

For this card, i took A2 size white card stock and with the help of  "FOILED AGAIN" Stencil from Stamploration, i have created my card background using the distress inks and then heat embossed the sentiment with black embossing powder and finally finished it with splattering some water and distress ink.

Hello Everyone,

Here we are back with another challenge at Crafty Creations Challenges  . Theme for this fortnight challenge is Monochromatic.

Here is my DT card :



For this card, I have taken kraft cardstock ,added pattern paper from trimcarft and distressed the edges.Flower and leaf dies are from Sizzix. Happy wooden sentiment (which i have covered with pie lane's  pixi dust glitter) and lace at the background is a local buy.

Make a Wish...

Hello Everyone,

Here is my quick post..

I have made this card to play along with couple of challenges..:)..This is inspired by Kay's Beautiful card at Time out and i have used the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch.

Here is my card....

For this card.. i have taken my white CS and splatter it with distress ink ans then added frame which was from Itsy bitsy , Butterfly ( Joy Crafts) and Die-namics Fancy Flourish and finally added the sentiment and some sequins

HLS Brand New Challenge - Anything Goes with Dies

Hello Everyone,

Welcome back!

I am so so excited to share my first DT post for Happy Little Stampers brand new challenge - Anything goes with Dies. Thanks Kylie for such a wonderful opportunity.

 Here is my Card...

For my card, i have embossed black card stock with my embossing tool (which was back side of my steel fork ;)...) I die cut the hearts from Sizzix Embosslits Die named "English Rose Heart" ( this die cut and emboss in a single step)..and added i love u  banner from "Hearts & more" set of Sizzix dies..and finally finished my card with some black sequins...

So, finally i am using my dies which i bought long back and never touched them.....:)..so if you are like me..then here is the chance to play along..
