Crealies - Cute Magnetic Bookmarks

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share these cute Bookmarks using Crealies latest Partzz dies. It was so much fun making these cuties for my girls. 

To make these Bookmarks, I have used the Pattern Paper from my stash. For the cloud one, |I took rainbow striped Pattern Paper, cut it in to roughly 1 by 4 inches strip, folded it into half and then added these cute Die cut clouds at both the ends. Then, I glued the magnetic strip inside to complete it.

For these Rainbow shaped bookmarks, I took White card base and folded it in to half. Then, I die cut it out using Crealies Outer edges of rainbow dies leaving the folded edges intact.

Meanwhile, I die cut out these rainbow 4 times in 4 different colored Pattern paper and adhered these on the folded die cut out Rainbow shape. Finally, I added the magnetic strip inside to complete these cute magnetic bookmarks.

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share my DT post for Time Out current challenge #236 where the theme is "You are a reader". And I made this Bookmark using our sponsor Newton Nook's Newton Loves Cake stamp set.

To make this card, I took  Watercolor Card stock and die cut it out using SugarPea Designs - Basic Bookmark dies. I smooshed the background of this die cut out bookmark using Watercolor pens and let it air dry.

Meanwhile, I die cut out these Books and Glasses from the same SugarPea Designs - Basic Bookmark dies, colored it and adhered it to the bookmark. Then, I stamped this cute image from  Newton Loves Cake stamp set by masking, colored it with Alcohol markers and fussy cut it. I adhered this image using the foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment from Jane's doodles and added the colorful matching threads to complete this Bookmark. I really love how this Bookmark turned out.

Crealies - Quick & Easy Bookmarks

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share these quick & easy Bookmarks which you can personalised easily. I really love how you can easily put these bookmarks together using Crealies latest Mix & Match dies. 

To make these bookmarks, I took White card stock and cut it out in to approx. 2 by 6 inches strips. Then I further die cut out these White card stock strips using Mix & match dies to create the pattern. 

After that, I took another White Card stock and ink blended it using Rainbow coloured Distress Oxides and adhered the die cut out patterned White strip. Then, I die cut out the smallest circle using Crea-Nest-lies dies, cut it in to half and adhered at the top edge of the bookmark. And punched a hole to add the thread.

To personalise these bookmarks with the names, I die cut out the Alphabets using Alfies dies on Mirror Gold Card stock and adhered these on the bookmark.

Yeah..I made one for me also...;).I hope you get inspired.

InkyStamper Stamps - Magnetic Bookmarks

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share these fun Magnetic Bookmarks using InkyStamper's Stamps & coordinating dies.. I really enjoyed making these Bookmarks for my 9 years old and  her friends . And it was her idea to gift it without coloring so that her friends can do the coloring. Hmmm .. Brilliant idea.. ;) Isn't it ??

I have a photo tutorial too.. (Beware... It's a picture heavy post..)

We have made around 20 of them and these are the ones those are left... ;)

This is how I made these..

I  first stamped the InkyStamper images on white card stock and die cut it out using their coordinating dies.

Then I colored the image and adhered it to the folded card stock.

After that, I fussy cut it leaving it intact from the folded side.

I added the sentiment on the back side  which I first stamped on white card stock and fussy cut it. I distress inked the edges just to add interest.

Finally, I adhered magnetic tape inside as shown in the pic.

Ta da... Our super easy magnetic Bookmarks are ready.

Kinda Cute by Patricia - Bookmarks

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share my DT Post for Kinda Cute by Patricia. I've made these Kinda cute Bookmarks using the cute digi set called "Girl reading". This digi includes 3 images

I love making bookmarks.. Do you??? And I love how they turned out..:)

To make these, I took white card stock and first I stamped stamped it using script stamp from my stash and then ink blended it using the same colors. I adhered these panels to Black cardstock to make them sturdy.

Meanwhile I printed this cute digis, colored these with Alcohol markers and fussy cut it. I adhered it to the ink blended panel using foam tape. 

Then, I stamped the sentiment from Jane's Doodles stamp set.  Added the matching thread and some heart embellishments to complete these bookmarks.

Quick & Easy Watercolored Bookmarks - Video Tutorial

Hello Everyone, 

I’m at Hedgehog Hollow Blog  with my another project using January 2021 Subscription box. In today's post, I'm sharing couple of ways which I normally use to create water colored background for my projects. Though I have used these water colored backgrounds here for making Bookmarks but you can make these backgrounds for adding your stamped images or die cuts or simply for hand lettering.

To make these bookmarks, I took Canson Montval 200gsm Water Color paper and cut it out to a size bigger than the bookmark stamp from Coffee and Books stamp set which I've used for heat embossing. For coloring, I've used Gansai Tambi Water Colors and Water Color Brush Markers to make these bright & colorful backgrounds for my Bookmarks. Once I was done with coloring, I cut out the edges using a Paper trimmer and adhered these bookmarks on Kraft Card Stock to make them sturdy.

Finally I added colorful matching thread to complete these Bookmarks. I really enjoyed making these bright & colorful background for my Bookmarks. I hope you get inspired.

Time Out Challenge #179

I love books!!!

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share these cute bookmarks which I made for my daughters.. I got my Jane's Doodles goodies just on time on weekend and I took out the time to played with my new toys... 😉

I am playing with Jane's doodle current challenge #8 - Embellishment

To make these, I stamped the background using water proof archival ink and then did some watercolor wash. Meanwhile, I stamped the images from Read all about it stamp set, water colored and fussy cut it.

After that adhered these image on the background using foam tape. Added heart embellishment and flowers to decorate these.

Finally, I have added matching twine (Yay!! I have used my twine which I was hoarding from long time) to complete it.

Here, We are back with another challenge at  Crafty Creations Challenges and  the theme for this fortnight challenge is "Not a Card"..  And this is what I made...

Did you like the distress ink background..??? i Just loved it.. This is not the magic of my hands... this is my new Mixed Media Paper pad ( 250 gsm) from Daler Rowney which i bought from Hobbycraft UK...Believe me .. inking was like butter on this paper...I love this paper..:)

I have used various brands ( Penny Black, HLS, STAMplorations,Neat & Tangled, Jane's doodles etc) to stamp the image and sentiment.

DT Post - Crafty Creations Challenges - Tic Tac Toe

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are doing great!!

Here,we are back with another challenge at  Crafty Creations Challenges and this fortnight we have following Tic Tac Toe challenge for you guys to play along..

Here is my DT entry using this digi image called Katie Reading from Robyn's Fetish. From our current challenge Tic Tac Toe, i have chose Sentiment, Image and Tag ( Diagonal line).

I have made these lovely bookmarks for my daughters who are 7 and 4 yrs and both of them love books. You won't believe, when i told them that today Mumma is making bookmarks for you, they both sat next to me, they chose the colors for their bookmarks ( elder one purple and younger one pink), flower stamp and the stencils too. Three of us really enjoyed making these.

• To make these we took the watercolor paper , added lots of water with mini mister and then both of them added different watercolors randomly here and there and we heat dried it. 
• Once it was dried completely, we have pasted it on the base card stock.  
• Then, we have added the stencils using distress inks, stamped some flowers from Kaiser craft flower set and our digi Katie reading . 
• Finally finished it by adding the sentiment. 
• As per the color of card stock, i tied the ribbon, then my elder one said , Mumma lets make it colorful...so she gave me the idea of  tying colorful ribbons. Isn't it looking great with those colorful ribbons?
• So we were done with it, then my younger one said.."Mumma something is missing in this"...i said - "now what". Cutely she said - "Butterflies"....Then Finally we have finished it by adding some butterflies. Seriously , it is fun working with kids...
