Customized Word Scrapbook

Hello Everyone,

For today's post, I have created customized word card for my daughter's birthday..I kept the colors on pastel side.

To begin with, I took different pastels color card stocks and partially die cut it out individual letters using outermost layer of Cardzz big alphabet dies.

After that, I took white stamping card stock and die cut out letters using innermost dies. Then, I distress inked all these letters by matching distress oxides colors and adhered the same on the base.

I punched each leaflet with two holes using punching tool, and added die cut out ring around it on both the sides using part of  Cardzz 24 dies to make it strong.

To decorate the front, I first stenciled it using the same distress oxide color. Then, I stamped the birthday sentiment on the white strip and adhered the same along with die cut out numbers. I die cut clouds on the vellum for my cute Unicorn images which are from Isabel Cristina .. Added some die cut out hearts from Cardzz 22  to further decorate it.

To decorate the inside of the leaflets, I did stamping and stenciling using same distress oxide colors. Here is the sneak peek of inside. I also added some stickers to further decorate it.

Once satisfied, , I bind these together using rings and decorated those rings by matching ribbons.

I hope you like this clean and simple customized name card/scrapbook.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Shaped Balloon Card!!

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share Balloon shaped mixed media Birthday card using new Crealies Pigment Colorzz.  These pigments are so bright and you need it in a very small quantity to do the magic :)

I started with folding white card stock and die cutting it using big balloon outermost die by partial die cutting technique  and then I adhered another layer of balloon die cut using foam tape.

After that, I die cut out the innermost layer of the balloon dies on mixed media paper to play with pigment colors. For that, I've used smooshing technique where I sprinkled a little bit of pigment on acrylic block, sprayed it water and picked it up on the card stock. I kept it doing the same thing with different pigments where I was drying the card stock after each pigment layer.

Once satisfied, I stamped it with bits and pieces confetti stamp set using distress oxide. Then I stenciled the background with silver paste where I created my own stencil using decorette - only circle dies.

Once  it was air dried, I adhered the die cut "HAPPY" sentiment along with die cut number eleven which I distress inked to add interest. Then, I stamped the Birthday sentiment on vellum, fussy cut it and adhered too.

Added die cut out stars and thread to complete it.

I hope you get inspired.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!
