You are my Favorite...

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are doing great!!

I am so honoured to be chosen as the guest designer this month for Paru's Card Making Challenge . Thank you so much Paru for having me.

The theme for this month challenge is Love...

And here is my take on the current challenge using cute critters from Neat & tangled "My Favorite Nut" stamp set.

To make this card, I took A2 size white card stock and ink smooshed the background. Once satisfied, stamped some hearts and then added the water coloured tree bark die cut outs from Craftin Desert Divas. Meanwhile stamped, coloured and fussy cut my focal image from "My Favorite Nut" stamp set. Adhered the same with foam tape to add some interest. Finally finished it by adding some stamped acrons and hearts here & there.

And here is the tag...

To make this tag, I have used "Heart of Gold Die" from Neat & Tangled. First , I cut out the heart using the same die as my stencil and ink smooshed it. Then attached the heart of gold die cut out using pink paper ribbon. Adhered the cute image to complete it.

I hope that you are inspired to join in the challenge this month to celebrate LOVE. Can't wait to see what you create!!

Hop over to challenge blog for more details.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Hugs xx

Mixed Media Monogram - You are Mermazing..

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are doing awesome!!!

Here I'm back... and this time it's not a card ....It's a mixed media Monogram which I have made for a little 5 years old girl who loves mermaids...

And here is how I made it.

1. I covered the paper mache letter with white gesso and once it dried, I created the water background with stamploartions woodgrain stencil using textured paste.

2. Once it's completely dried, I ombre coloured it with my blue gelatos pack..( finally I broke the seal of my gelatos which I bought almost 9 months back....he he he)

3. After that I have stamped , mirror stamped and coloured the images from Neat & tangled - you are mermazing stamp set with gansai tambi watercolours and fussy cut them.

4. Arranged everything as shown and adhered it to my letter. Added the hand written sentiment. Added so many bubbles using glossy accent to give some interest ( I hope you can see that..:))

5. Then covered the whol thing with glossy modpodge.

Here are some close ups...

Have a Magical Christmas...

Hello Friends,

Hope you are doing great!!!

Here is my another Christmas card where I have extended my mermazing stamp set ... Hope you like it... I really enjoyed making this one..looks really magical....:)

To make this card..
  • I took A2 size watercolor paper and heat embossed the snowflakes with white embossing powder and then distress inked the background using Ink Smooshing technique. ( such a fun technique..great for making background for your cards or layouts.). you can find my other card here using the same technique.
  • Mounted this inked paper over the white card stock.
  • Stamped the mermaid image (which is from Neat & Tangled - Mermazing stamp set) , rainbow colored  it with Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils  and  highlighted it with some white dots using white marker pen then fussy cut it and adhered it to the card stock with double sided tape. Santa cap is hand illustrated and colored.
  • Heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder.
  • Finished my card by adding some glossy accent here & there.

Here is the close up
