MFT Stamps - You make the Holidays more fun!!

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share this Christmas card using MFT Christmas Safari stamps set. I got inspired by their current sketch as well as color challenge. I enjoy taking part in their sketch challenge because, without it, I might never have considered using this layout for my card 😊.

To create this card, I took A2 size White Card base where I masked it as per sketch and ink blended it using Distress Oxides. Once satisfied, I splattered it with little bit of water to add interest.

Meanwhile, I stamped these cute images from MFT Christmas Safari stamps set, colored it with Alcohol Markers and fussy cut it and adhered to the card panel using foam tape to give some dimension.

Then, I stamped the sentiment from same stamp on White strip and adhered it to the card base using foam tape. Finally, I added some clear sequins to complete this card.

Time Out Challenge #249 - Vintage Card

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share my DT post for Time Out current challenge #249 where the theme is Vintage. I really struggled with this theme ;)  and finally came out with this Vintage card using Honey Bee Stamps "Just my type" stamps set.

I am not completely satisfied with this card..😁.there are so many things "I used and I did" for the first time in this card...and most of things I don't know why I added.. I was just going with the flow..😁

Over to my version of Vintage card...

Our generous Sponsor is Doodle Bugs

Prize: 25$ store credit from Doodle Bugs

To create this card, I started with an A2-sized white card base and added a page from an old book which I die cut out using Crealies "on the edge" dies. There's a fascinating story behind this particular book: During the summer of 2020, while wandering through Heidelberg, Germany, I stumbled upon it outside someone's house on the street. Its yellowed pages gave me vintage vibes and immediately I picked it up thinking one day I will use it... Now, three years later, I'm thrilled to be putting it to use. It feels quite surreal. 😊

Let's move on, after adhering the die cut out book page at an angle, I ink blended the whole card base using "Vintage Photo" distress inks (used this ink pad for the first time). And then stencilled it using Sheena's decorative stencil "Eiffel Tower" (again It's worth noting that this is the first time I've used it, having purchased it from the Doncaster Craft Fair during our stay in 2017. 😁). I hope you can see the Eiffel tower in the background. Then I splattered this card with water to add some interest to this Vintage card.

Meanwhile, I stamped this  Vintage Typewriter stamp, colored it with Alcohol Markers and fussy cut it. I stamped the hearts from same Honey Bee Stamps "Just my type" randomly on the card base and adhered the typewriter using foam tape along with washi tape.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment on White strip using those tiny wooden mount Rubber alphabets ( I don't know why I bought it at first place back in 2016 from Hobbycraft, UK, finally using it...😆) where I inked the edges of the white strip with distress inks. I added some tiny die cut out hearts to complete this card.

You see, how much I dig in to my Craft stash to create this Vintage card.

I hope you get inspired and will join this challenge#249 at Time Out. This challenge is sponsored by Doodle Bugs and the Challenge winners will receive 25$ credit from Doodle Bugs Website.

I can't wait to see how you get inspired.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!
