Crealies - Holiday card using On the move dies

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share this ink blended Snowflakes Holiday card using newly released  Crealies On the MOVE dies.

To make this swing along card, I first die cut out the base panel on white card stock. Then I die cut the second layer on white card stock which I ink blended using distress inks. I splattered it with water to add interest.

Once satisfied, I die cut out lots of snowflakes and adhered to the ink blended panel. Then, I layered it on the card base with glue.

Now for the swing panels, I die cut out two layers where I created landscape using On the Edge dies. For one panel I added stamped snowman and for another one I added die cut out houses and stamped sentiment.

I further decorated these swing panels by adding white Nuvo drops to depict snow. Here is the pic when we fold the card and put it  in to the envelope.

The back side of the card was looking very plain. So, I ink blended it at the to edge and added some snowflakes to decorate it. Rest of the place I left white to write message.

I hope you get inspired.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Slimline Mixed Media Holiday Card - Hedgehog Hollow November Subscription Box

ello Everyone,

I’m at Hedgehog Hollow blog with another post using the November Subscription box. Today, I'm sharing a slimline CAS Mixed Media Holiday card using "Believe" stencil from Maker Forte which was included in this month subscription box. Have you ever tried Mixed Media cards ? If not, then this post will give you some courage ;).. It's so easy and fun to play with different inks and there is absolutely no chance of making mistakes :)

To start with, I die cut out Watercolor card stock panel using Crealies Slimline Dies . Then, I Ink blended it using Mowed Lawn, Candid Apple and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxides. Now the fun part, I ink smooshed this ink blended panel using same Distress Oxide colors. Every time I smooshed the color on the panel, I dried it using Heat tool to get the grunge effect. I repeated this process till I was satisfied.

After that, I stamped this panel randomly with "Oh Holy Night" sentiment and star from Nativity stamp set using Black Archival ink. Here is the tip, don't use stamping pad for stamping, just do it with your hands to add interest.

Then, I partially stenciled this panel using same Distress Oxide colors where I added Ornaments at the top and stars randomly using Believe Stencil.

Once satisfied with the background, I stenciled only the "Believe" part from the stencil using Pebeo Modeling paste and masked rest of the stencil with washi tape.

Once the panel dried, I mounted it on white card base and added some silver sequins for the final touch up. I really enjoyed making this fun Mixed Media slimline card. I hope you like it too.

DIY Jewelry Video Tutorial featuring WoodUbend

Hello Everyone,

I’m so excited to be at The Hedgehog Hollow blog with my another post using  November month Subscription box . Today, I'm sharing some DIY Jewelry project where I've made a pair of Necklace with matching earrings using WoodUBend sample product which was included in this month's box. This is my first trial on jewelry making which is totally out of my comfort zone and that too without using any Jewelry making tool :).

Handmade Jewelry set

Before starting, Let me give you a bit info about this WoodUBend product. As the name suggested, their mouldings are made up of wood which can be easily bend by heating. Once it cools down it remains in that shape and becomes hard again.

Purple colored jewelry set

I have a step by step video tutorial to show you how I made this pair of Necklace along with earrings , head over to my YouTube channel .

I started with heating the piece of WoodUBend moulding using heat gun and pressed it to make it straight. After that I cut it using Craft Knife and made a hole also using a prick tool. Make sure whenever you do this just heat it before otherwise it might break/crack . Heating makes this wood soft and easy to work with.

Once, I cut this ribbon moulding in to the desired length then, I smoothen the edges using sand paper.

After that, I colored these pieces with white acrylic paint and then with my choice of colors. Once satisfied, I highlighted the design on the wood moulding with gold acrylic paint using paint brush.

Purple necklace set

Finally, I assembled it by adding silver rings and hooks which I took from my Kids Jewelry making kit... :)...Ta da... our beautiful piece of jewelry set is ready. Isn't it beautiful? My girls loved it as I matched it with their costume. Hope you liked it too.

Crealies inspiration relay new Crealies products day 7

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share this flower card using latest release from Crealies where I've used Big Labels dies and so many die cut out flowers and leaves to decorate.

To start with, I took white A4 size card stock and fold it in to half vertically to make the card base. Then, I die cut out pattern paper using Labelzz dies and adhered the same on white card base. I have used largest dies from the die set for the outer dimension and cut the extra white card base accordingly.

After that, I die cut out flowers using new flower dies on matching pattern paper  and arranged the same on card panel. Then, I added die cut out leaves in different designs on white card stock and adhered the same.

Once I was satisfied with the arrangement of the flowers, I stamped the sentiment on white card stock and die cut it out using matching dies. I added this sentiment using foam tape.

Finally added some white Nuvo drops at the center of the flowers to complete this card.

I hope you get inspired.
