Time Out Challenge #290 - Pick 2

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share my DT post for Time Out current challenge #290 - Pick 2, where we have to pick two words from the challenge banner to make the card. And I chose "repeat" and "bold".

Over to my card...

This challenge is  sponsored by our own Design Team Member, Kate Lesh, who is generously offering Sizzix Thinlets Die Set 664379 Garden Shed by Sophie Guilar as the prize for our Challenge Winner.

I started with A2 size Cream coloured Card base. Then, I took White card panel which I die cut out using Aveccreative - Love to craft butterfly dies.. I repeatedly die cut it out 6 times to create this pattern. I backed it up with colorful pattern paper and adhered it to the card base.

Meanwhile, I die cut out this bold sentiment on Black card stock and adhered it to the card panel i=using foam tape to give it some dimension.

Finally, I added some matching gemstones on the butterfly to complete this birthday card. I really like how this card turned out. I hope yo like it too :).

By the way you can find all my Butterfly cards here .

I hope you get inspired and will join this challenge#290 at Time Out

Time Out Challenge #261 - Inspired by words

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share my DT post for Time Out current challenge #261 where we have to inspired by these words - "I'm a romantic! I live for long, dreamy walks down the craft aisle".

And I've created this romantic card by opening the seal of my new dies from Aveccreative which I bought again almost a year back, thinking that one day I will create a stitching card using this embroidery hoop dies and finally yesterday night was that day 😁.  Yay!!!

Here is my first ever stitched card.. I hope to create more in the future ( though chances are less😜)..

Cross Stitched Heart - Handmade Love card

Our generous Sponsor is Doodle Bugs

Prize: Coupon code of $25 Store credit

To make this card, I die cut out this embroidery hoop on Kraft card stock using the dies and then I die cut out white circle smaller and made these holes using the same dies. After that, I googled the pattern for the heart and embroided this cross stitched heart with pink embroidery thread.

Once done with embroidery, I secured the back thread with foam tape and adhered it to the centre of the White card base. Then, I added striped Black & White washi tape at one side of the card stock to add interest.

Finally, I added handwritten sentiment to complete this stitched heart card.

Time Out Challenge #215 - Guest Designer

Hello Everyone,

I'm so excited to be Guest Designing for Time Out Challenge #215. The theme for the current challenge is photo inspiration and this is what I've created.

Over to my Card,

And here is the challenge photo from which I got inspired.

There are so many elements in the photo from which I took my inspiration to make my card. I really got fascinated with the Vases and how these are gold plated.  And also the Blue colour in the photo along with that triangle hanging.

To make this card, I took A2 size White Card base. I masked the lower part of the card with sticky notes and stencilled it lightly using Faber castell  triangle stencil.

Meanwhile, I die cut the vases on Blue cardstock using Aveccreative dies and partly embossed it with Gold embossing powder. After that I die cut the plants using the same die set on White cardstock which I ink blended using Distress Inks.

Then, I glued the Wooden pattern paper strip and arranged all the die cut out vases and plants using foam tape and glue.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment from Simon Says 'You Matter' stamp set and added some clear sequins to complete this card.

I hope you get inspired and will join this challenge#215 at Time OutThis challenge is sponsored by STAMPlorations. Challenge winner will receive a $25.00 gift voucher to the STAMPlorations Digital Store.

Hello Everyone,

I'm so excited to be joining Seize the Birthday team as their "Surprise Party Guest" for the next two months i.e. March & April. Thank you so much Nancy for inviting me and giving me this wonderful opportunity to play along with your super talented designers and at the same time  build my Birthday Card stash ;).

This is what I've created for this challenge...

All "Seize the Birthday" Challenges are "Anything Goes", with an optional topping for those who want to try something different. And for the next two weeks, the topping is Ocean Creatures.

To make this card, I first created this alcohol background on photo paper using Alcohol inks. Once satisfied, I cut it out approx. half inch from all the side as compared to the A2 size White card base. Then , I adhered this alcohol ink background on the White card base using foam tape to give some dimension.

Meanwhile, I die cut out these Ocean Creatures on colored cardstock using Aveccreative dies which I recently added to my stash. Then I stamped some fishes from MFT - Mermazing stamp set. I adhered all the die cut out creatures and elements using foam tape to create this underwater scene.

I stamped the sentiment from YNS- mini HB mermaid stamp set on White paper strip and adhered to card base. Finally I added some googly eyes to all these ocean creatures to make it more fun :).

I hope you get inspired and will join us with your Birthday card in the gallery, with or without the topping.
