To make this card, I took A2 size Water coloured paper and painted this background using my water colours. I really enjoyed the whole process as I played with the water colors after a long time. And it came out really decent... What do you think ?? 🙂.

Time Out Challenge #288 - Theme Challenge

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share  my DT post for Time Out current challenge #288. It's theme challenge and we are celebrating Star Wars - May the 4th be with you.

You can think off movie series, celestial, galaxy, sky, northern lights, etc. for this challenge. This is what I've created...

Our generous Sponsor is Topflight Stamps
Prize: $25 Store Credit

To create this card, I started with a cream-colored card base and layered it with a galaxy-patterned background. I’ve been holding onto this cardstock for almost three years—it was originally part of the gift wrapping for my daughter’s 10th birthday. I’m so glad I finally put it to use! 😊

After adhering the patterned paper, I die cut out the sentiment on Golden glittered cardstock using Altenew ( Happy sentiment) and Winnie & Walter (Birthday Sentiment) die set. I die cut out the 13 number using Aveccreative number dies. I adhered these sentiments on the card panel using glue as well as Foam tape to give some dimension.

I made this card for my daughter's friend's 13th Birthday. I really like how this card turned out.

I hope you get inspired and will join this challenge#288 at Time Out. This challenge is sponsored by Topflight Stamps and  the Challenge winner will receive a $25.00 gift voucher to spend on their shop.

Hello Everyone,

Happy weekend!!

I'm stopping by to share this quick post.. I made this card on Hubby's request as he needed a card for his colleague who was leaving the organization.

And I made this blue-ish background using alcohol markers to create a perfect background for a masculine card. These days, I'm enjoying playing with alcohol inks ;)

Love You - Winnie and Walter

Hello Everyone,

Here is my second post of the day...This card is inspired by Winnie and Walter's August/September Color Combo with Heather (Challenge). Here is the moldboard...

And here is my take on this beautiful color combination...

To make this card, I took white water colored card stock and stamped the hearts using W & W Scenery: Seeing Hearts with distress ink ( Barn Door) and for the spacial effect on hearts, instead of dabbing the ink on stamp, I rubbed it in one direction. Then I stamped it with versamark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

Then, water colored the background and splattered it with white acrylic paint. Once satisfied, I die cut out the sentiment using In a Word: Love Coordinating Cutaways and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Stamped the sentiment from In a Word: Love (the stamp set) and completed it by adding some white heart embellishments.

Here is the close up..

I really love how it came out. Hope you too..

Thank you so much for stopping by!!
