You are Pawsome - Hedgehog Hollow February 2021 Subscription box

Hello Everyone,

I'm at Hedgehog Hollow blog  with my another post using February Subscription box . For Today post, I have created these two fun 'You are Pawsome' cards using tone on tone stamping technique.

Card 1

I started with A2 size card base. And first I stamped the paw prints repetitively from 'Puppy Love' stamp set using Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide. Then I ink blended this stamped panels with same Distress Oxide color.

Meanwhile, I stamped this Love paw print image from 'Puppy Love' stamp set using Color Hive reMARKable - Eclipse Black - Hexagonal Ink Pad and fussy cut it. I adhered this image on card panel using foam tape. Then, I die cut out 'You' using STAMPlorations You & me dies and ink blended it using Pistachio Distress Oxide. Finally added the fussy cut printed sentiment 'you're pawsome' along with some tiny white heart embellishments to complete this card.

Card 2

For this card, I took a die cut out stitched rectangular panel. And stamped it with paw prints using Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide as we did in our first card and ink blended it using same ink. Then, I adhered this panel on watermarked white card base.

After that, I stamped the Paw print from the 'Love You Fur-ever" stamp set using Color Hive reMARKable - Eclipse Black - Hexagonal Ink Pad and fussy cut it. Adhered it to card panel using foam tape.

Finally added the fussy cut printed sentiment 'you're pawsome' along with some tiny pink hearts to complete this card.

I hope you really enjoyed these projects. Thank you so much for joining me today .

Happy Purr-thday - Hedgehog Hollow February 2021 Subscription box

Hello Everyone,

I'm at Hedgehog Hollow blog with my new post. Have you checked February Subscription box yet? This month’s box is focusing on Pet themed Stamps, stencils, Paper Pads and Ephemera Set. And the best part you can use these stamps/stencils alone or you can mix it with your favorite pet images from different brands. For today's card, I have mixed it with Newton's Nook stamp set called Newton's Birthday Balloons.

I started with A2 size white card stock and masked it with die cut out heart using masking paper. Then, I ink blended it with 'Tumbled Glass' Distress ink and further stenciled it using Whiskers and Wiggles stencil which came in to the box.

Once satisfied, I stamped the Heart with Paw print using Love you Fur-ever stamp set using Color Hive - Clear - Hexagonal Embossing Glue Ink Pad. Then, I heat embossed it using Ranger's Clear Embossing Powder.

Meanwhile, I stamped the image from Newton's Birthday Balloons Stamp set using Color Hive reMARKable - Eclipse Black - Hexagonal Ink Pad. I colored this stamped image using Alcohol Markers and fussy cut it.

After that, I stamped the sentiment from same Newton's Birthday Balloons stamp set and adhered the image using foam tape.

Finally I added some Pink little Heart embellishment from Dress my Craft and some washi tape to complete this Purr-thday Card.

I hope you like it. Thank you so much for joining me today .

Quick & Easy Watercolored Bookmarks - Video Tutorial

Hello Everyone,

I’m at Hedgehog Hollow Blog  with my another project using January 2021 Subscription box. In today's post, I'm sharing couple of ways which I normally use to create water colored background for my projects. Though I have used these water colored backgrounds here for making Bookmarks but you can make these backgrounds for adding your stamped images or die cuts or simply for hand lettering.

To make these bookmarks, I took Canson Montval 200gsm Water Color paper and cut it out to a size bigger than the bookmark stamp from Coffee and Books stamp set which I've used for heat embossing. For coloring, I've used Gansai Tambi Water Colors and Water Color Brush Markers to make these bright & colorful backgrounds for my Bookmarks. Hop over to my YouTube Channel to check out step by step video tutorial..

Once I was done with coloring, I cut out the edges using a Paper trimmer and adhered these bookmarks on Kraft Card Stock to make them sturdy.

Finally I added colorful matching thread to complete these Bookmarks. I really enjoyed making these bright & colorful background for my Bookmarks. I hope you get inspired.

Don’t forget that you can share your projects on The Hedgehog Hollow Box Facebook group as well as Stamping at the Hedgehog Hollow Facebook group. We would love to see what you are creating with this wonderful box.
