Mixed Media Canvas - Sisters

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are doing great!

Today, I am sharing my new Mixed Media Canvas which I have made for a dear friend's daughters in the beginning of the month but couldn't share it as we were travelling. In fact i have to share some cards tooo which I have made before leaving... will do it slowly...:)

Here is my Canvas..

To make this Canvas, I have first covered the canvas with white Gesso and then used STAMPlorations Rose stencil to create the background. Colored the whole thing with Pink and purple acrylic colors till i was satisfied. After that i have arranged all my embellishments like paper doily, laces, handmade pink flowers, purple roses, die cut leaves and flourishes on my canvas. Added the die cut sentiment using purple glitter foam sheet. Added some metal charms ( to match it with my canvas, i covered them with white gesso and then purple acrylic color) and glitter balls. Finally covered the whole thing with modge podge to protect it.

DT Post - Crafty Creations Challenges - Numbers

Hello Everyone...

Hope you all are doing great!

Here, I am back with another challenge at  Crafty Creations Challenges and  the theme for this fortnight challenge is Numbers (use number on your project)... and  we have lovely sponsor Cute As A Button. They have wonderful images and i choose this image for my card ...image name is Alana Birthday Princess. she is soo cute...Isn't it.. :)..Enjoyed making shaped card after a long time.

To make this card , I took 6 by 6 inches pink card stock and drew number "8" on it and cut it along.  I did same with polka dotted PP, used heart dies for inside of number 8. Colored  all the stamped images with water color and markers , fussy cut it and added it on the card with double sided tape. Added the sentiment which was part of digi image. Added some rhinestones too :)..

Simon Says Stamps - Summer Vacation - Kids Challenge - By Agrima

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are doing great!

Here we are back with our 2 weeks long vacation to Disney Paris, Netherland and then to Belgium..It was an awesome trip. We enjoyed a lot. Before going  to vacation , I have promised kids that i will share my craft goodies with them :) to participate in Simon Says Stamps - Summer Vacation Kids Challenge.- Theme is Anything goes with Glitter.

After coming back from vacation, I got busy with unpacking, Laundry etc and then some guests visited us.I Completely forgot about the challenge .. but for my surprise ...today at the breakfast table my elder one reminded me .. " Mamma, we didn't make our glitter card" then immediately i have checked the blog for last entry date and Thank God we had 22 hours to upload our cards. After finishing the breakfast , as i promised , i shared my stamps and both of my daughters chose their favorite stamps to make the card. Ohhh.. this post is going to be long..;)

They have used my Stampoholic to stamp the images on their cardstock...Aarushi (elder one who is 7 ) helped  Agrima (younger one who is 4) to stamp her images too. They have used sharpie markers to color the image and added glitter with modge podge. I really enjoyed watching them. Here are their Cards...Hope you too like these cuties from them.

Here we are back with Happy Little Stampers "Anything goes with dies AUGUST Challenge".

To make this card, i have used Tonic Studios Floral Bloom Die (which i bought recently from Doncaster Summer Crafting fair ..Background dies was in my wish list from very long time..finally had one that too on 50% discount ;)). Added a distressed ink panel behind the front card stock. Took Congrats sentiment dies from Sizzix and heat embossed it with black embossing powder. Finished it by adding some black sequins.

DT Post - Crafty Creations Challenges - On the Beach

Hello Everyone...

Hope you all are doing great!

Here, i am back with another challenge at  Crafty Creations Challenges and  the theme for this fortnight challenge is On the Beach... and  we have lovely sponsor Cute As A Button. They have wonderful images and i choose this image for my card ...image name is Mermaid Sophia. she is soo soo cute...enjoyed making this card..

To make this card, i have masked my entire card stock except the circle. Then created the background using distress inks and watercolors, did some freehand watering too and drew some sea weeds. Colored the mermaid and fishes (digi image from Cute As A Button) using watercolors and markers. I have covered both the fishes with Tim holtz Glossy Accent (love it) and added few drops of it here and there in the background which you can see in the next pic.Adhered all the images with double sided tape and finished it by adding my handwritten sentiment. I just love it..hope you too...:)

Altenew - One Layer Card...

Hello Friends,

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Here I am.. just in time for Altenew July Inspiration Challenge. Just 2 days back i got my first Altenew Stamps from India (which i have ordered from thecraftshop ) through my brother as he was visiting us in UK.It was in my wish list from very long time.You won't believe, i was so much excited.....of course to meet my bro after almost a year but more than that to get my crafty stuffs.... he he he..don't tell him....

I think enough of talking....:)..just 5 hours are left for the challenge to close..This is first time , I am playing along with Altenew Challenges.

This month challenge was photo inspiration combined with wedding theme.

Here, I made a one layer card with "Beautiful day Stamp Set".. Colored it with watercolors and added the sentiment from the same stamp set and finished it by adding some rhinestones.
