Inspiration Station #49 - Photo Inspiration - I got inspired by Rainbow ribbons in the pic.Our generous Sponsor is Varada Sharma

To make this card, I took White Card base and ink blended half of the panel vertically using my rainbow colored Chalk ink pads. Then I covered the white part and splattered the ink blended part with Gold Acrylic paint. I let it air dry.
Meanwhile, I printed this digital stamp called Cascading Florals - Slimline on White card stock, fussy cut it and adhered it to the card base. I added some details at the centre of the flower using Gold Gel pen to add interest.
After that, I added the sentiment which I die cut out on mirror Gold card stock. Finally,I added some gold sequins to complete this card.

So clever to leave the floral image B&W (and with gold centre!). The pastel colours of the rainbow are so pretty and the gold splatter is perfect:)
ReplyDeleteLovely Deepti! I love the black and white image against the pretty rainbow background! The spattering of gold is perfect! Hugs, Kate!
ReplyDeleteYour design is absolutely wonderful, Deepti. I love your rainbow. Your ink blending came out beautifully. Leaving the floral image mostly uncolored was a great idea. The gold touches are the perfect compliment. Beautiful take on the quote.
ReplyDeleteDeepti... so subtle and so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love the white flowers with the rainbow inking, Deepti. The gold pen really accents the center of the flowers and adds that special something.
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous floral image & uniquely beautiful design! Thank you for the sweet comments--so appreciated!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous design and lovely floral bouquet. It looks so nice left uncolored against the rainbow side panel. Thanks for sharing with us at the Inspiration Station Challenge and we look forward to seeing more from you soon.
