Time Out Challenge #260 - Striped

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share my DT post for Time Out current challenge #260 where the theme is "Striped". And I have made this fun Shaker card using one of the image from my already stamped images stash.. yeah.. I do have a stash of lots of stamped images.. I really wonder it's just me or do you also have such kind of a stash??? Do let me know in the comment section below 😜..

Over to my card..

To make this card, as mentioned above, I have used this already stamped image from my stash.  This was stamped using Maker Forte Martini Builder stamp set and to add more fun, I fussy cut the  glass from the middle to create shaker card. I layered this panel with acetate from the back and added these cute embellishments along with foam tape. Then, I adhered it to the same sized White panel (this really helps me to align it properly 😊).

Meanwhile, I took matching A2 size Card base and  created tone on tone striped background using same color Distress Oxide. Then, I adhered the shaker panel on this striped card base.

Finally, I added some embellishments at the top panel to complete this fun shaker Birthday card.

I hope you get inspired and will join this challenge#260 at Time Out. This challenge is sponsored by
Lawn fawn and  the Challenge winner will receive a $25.00 gift voucher to spend on their shop.

I can't wait to see what you create.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

  3. I LOVE this fun and festive card. Great colors, and ones I normally don't use. Perfect choice here! And yes, I have many, many stamped images, die cuts, etc, in boxes. I rarely use them, but when I go into one of the boxes, I see a lot of opportunity for creating. Should really do that more often!

  4. I love this, Deepti! Making a shaker to go along with the sentiment was brilliant and adding the stir stick decorated with the same embellishments in the shaker tie it all together beautifully. I don't have a lot of stamped images but a box full of backgrounds. Once in a while I'll pull one out.
