Hello Everyone,
I'm stopping by to share my DT post for Time Out current challenge #273 where we have to inspired by these words - "As long as autumn lasts, I shall not have hands, canvas and colors enough to paint the beautiful things I see." – Vincent Van Gogh.
And this is what I've created using our sponsor Poppy Stamps metal dies...
Over to card..
Our generous Sponsor is Poppy Stamps
Meanwhile, I die cut out Thank you sentiment twice on Black card stock using Poppy Stamps - Playful Thank you die set. I layered it together to make the sentiment thick. Then I die cut out this cute Hedgehog again from Poppy stamps die set called Whittle Papa Hedgehog, colored it with alcohol markers and adhered it to the card base using foam tape.
Finally, I glued the die cut out sentiment around the Hedgehog where I replaced the "O" with Hedgehog image. I really love how the background turned out.
Thank you so much for stopping by!!
Hugsxx

This is so pretty! It looks almost magical how perefctly the leaves are placed on the card base! Such beautiful ink blends too. xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful design and so adorable!
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely Deepti! Love the shower of leaves your little hedgehog is having and the colours are amazing! Very clever to replace the "o" with the hedgehog (might have to borrow that idea)! Hugs, Kate!
ReplyDeleteInk smooshed leaves are the best, Deepti, and yours are beautiful. What a great idea to exchange the O for the darling hedgehog.
ReplyDeleteSo clever to use the hedgehog in place of the O, Deepti! Can't imagine gluing down all those beautiful leaves, but your patience made for a wonderful card!
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE this, Deepti! Do you have a secret trick of gluing all of those leaves in place? Press & Seal perhaps? Or are you the most patient human on earth??? Whatever the case, this card is fabulous. Your leaves came out so beautifully and don't get me started on Mr. Hedgehog as the "O". Just wonderful!!! All of it!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet Deepti!! I love the beautiful Autumn leaves falling down around that cute little hedgie! He is such a clever placement for the 'o' in the sentiment! A special card! :)
