Hello Friends,
Hope you are doing great!!
Beware !!! It's a long post..:)
Here I am back with my DT post for Crafty Creations Challenges and as usual the theme is "Anything Goes". This challenge is sponsored by Cute as a button and I chose this cute image for my card called "Slothy Love". Just have a close look at this image..Full of love..Isn't it?? Being a Mom/daughter, I can really feel it..:)..I am sure you too...
Anyways, I have made two cards with same digis...now there is a story behind it..he he he. Let's begin..I coloured the image with bright pink and purple colour ( Inspired by movie "Trolls"), showed to my hubby who was sitting next to me and was working on his laptop. He said, what's that! I don't like it (colours which I chose. :(..).this is looking like something in fairy tales, not real colours for a sloth..( Please somebody tell him, We girls live in our own fairy world. he he he)..I said - Hmmm..let me try different colour and coloured the second image ( you have to scroll down to see it) and then he said "this is perfect". However I still like the first one more..:)..
Here are my Cards with close ups:
For this card, I was pretty much clear ..What am I going to do.. I took A2 size watercolour paper and used my scalloped square dies (NBUS) to cut the panel ( I think great idea if you don't own any rectangle one ;)..Then smooched it with distress ink, once satisfied, I used the leafy stencil from Faber castell and inked with "Mowed lawn" green colour distress ink ( again NBUS). Adhered the image with double sided tape, added hearts and finally finished it by adding the sentiments which is from Clearly besotted stamp set.
Here is the close up-
Playing along with following Challenges:

Card 2
Nothing was planned for this card.. Just then, I recalled Darnell's this post about NBUS Challenge 10 where she has mentioned about what "National Day" is being celebrated on the day you are making your card.. I checked here (She has shared the links too...So kind of her.. ) and 31st January is celebrated as "National Inspire your Heart with Art day".. WOW.. What a theme to get inspired..
So, Finally I got Inspired and my creative juices started flowing.... ;) ..I did some free hand water colouring and created this beautiful scene for my "Slothy Love" image..Finished it by adding the sentiment from Clearly Besotted stamp Set.

I hope you like it.. My favourite is still the first one..and my hubby and kids love the second one...I would love to know which one is your favourite...:)
