STAMPlorations Spring Fling - Hug in a Mug

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share this spring coffee card using STAMPlorations  Spring Blooms and Mugs Digital Stamps. I colored this beautiful image using alcohol twin markers ( I'm a beginner using these markers) :)

To make this card, I first stenciled the background using Fall Floral Trio - ARTplorations Stencil, Then I adhered the colored and fussy cut digi using foam tape.

After that I die cut out the Flutter Zen 2 Layering Dies - CUTplorations butterflies on vellum and Hug in a Mug sentiment and adhered the same of the card base to complete it.

Hope you like it. Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Gerda Steiner Designs - Digital Stamp

Hello Friends, I am sharing this cute card using Gerda Steiner free digi called Coffee Mouse. I tried something totally different and out of my comfort zone to make the backdrop for this cute little guy.

I always get amazed by seeing lots of Crafters who make super beautiful background using Copics. And I really wanted to try one myself, though I don't have Copics, I used alcohol twin markers instead.

Over to my card...

Here are some close ups...

I hope you like it.

Crealies 3D Paper Backpack Gift

Hello Everyone,

I am stopping by to share this 3 dimensional Backpack using Crealies Cardzz dies. It was so much fun making this. I made this for my younger daughter's Teacher who is celebrating her birthday this month end.. My daughter is planning to put some post it notes, markers, chocolates and a small Birthday card in this backpack.

Over to my  project ( Beware!!! Picture heavy post)

Here is the video where my little one is showing this cute backpack...

To begin with, I die cut out all the parts in the dies using pattern paper.

To make it 3D , I cut the  pattern paper strip which is approximately 14.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide ( you can make it as wide as you like). Then I scored this strip 0.25 inches on both the side along the length.

After that, I glued both the backpack panels on the strip, make sure to cut the scored strips in to small fringes whenever you reach to the rounded part of the backpack panel to give it proper shape.

Similarly, for the backpack flap, first I glued the strip and then flap on that strip.

Finally added all the accessories to complete it.

And here is pic of my little one holding the gift which we have made for her teacher..

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Jane's Doodle Challenge - Guest Designer Post

Hello Everyone,

I'm so excited to be guest designing from Jane's Doodle Current Challenge where the theme is Birthday.

For my card, I chose Jane's Doodle Tulip stamp set (because someone in the family loves Tulip flowers more than anything else and this card is for her :) which I bought recently and using it for the first time..Yay!! Yes.. this is an achievement because I buy lots of crafty stuff and then don't use it. I have a huge pile of stamps which I bought and never used them :(

Anyways.. Over to my birthday card..

I wanted to try something different... like in photography we focus on one image and rest get blurred..I tried to achieve same in this card... I don't know how successful I am... ;) but overall I am happy with the result..

I took watercolor paper and die cut it out using STAMPlorations stitched rectangle dies. I started with stamping the tulips with distress ink and water colored the same loosely and added a layer of white also at the end to tone down the color. Meanwhile did no line coloring for highlighted image and fussy cut it.

Adhered the same on the tulip background using foam tape . Stamped the sentiment from Jane's Doodle - Anemone stamp set and completed it by adding some glossy accent droplets.

I hope you like it.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Jane's Doodles - You're TeROARific!!!

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to introduce this Mommy Dinosaur  who is having her morning coffee to get some energy 😉.... I don't know about you?? But I need my morning coffee to get ROARing energy to start my day...

Over to my card..

I've used Jane's Doodle Dino-mite stamp set along with some doodling to make it more fun and interesting...

To start with, I stenciled the background and meanwhile stamped, water colored and fussy cut the images. Adhered the same on the card stock with foam tape. Doodled this coffee mug and glued it under partially cut image to give the impression that it is holding the cup. You can see it in below image..

Stamped the sentiment and added washi tape for fun to complete this card.

I hope you like it.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
