STAMPlorations GD Post - One stencil three ways

Happy Sunday Everyone!!

I am so excited to be back with my final GD post at STAMPlorations blog for their Stencil Sunday post showcasing wonderful ARTplorations stencils. For today's post,  I have created three masculine cards with plaid background using one stencil. And the fun part is that all the three plaid backgrounds are inspired by my hubby's wardrobe :).

Over to my masculine cards using Plaid Maker Stencil

Card 1

For this card, I did simple ink blending on white card stock, first by keeping the stencil vertical and then horizontal using distress oxides.

Once satisfied, I added the die cut sentiment using You Are My Sunshine Phrase Die and layered it with another die cut out. Added some matching sequins to complete it.

Card 2

For this card, I did partial ink blending using the same Plaid Maker Stencil with different distress oxide colors but this time I rotated the stencil 360 degree.

Once done, I added die cut out sentiment using Thankful Word Die and stamped rest of the sentiment from Be Thankful Stamp set.

Card 3

For this card, first I masked the white card stock with heart and then ink blended the background using distress oxides. After that, I stenciled it using the Plaid Maker Stencil and peeled out the masked heart.

Once dried, I adhered it on the matching note card along with striped washi tape. Added the die cut out sentiment using Birthday Wishes Phrase Die which I first adhered on the vellum and fussy cut it. Jazz it up with some matching sequins to complete it.

I really enjoyed making these. I hope you get inspired and create some beautiful plaid background by getting inspiration from your hubby's wardrobe..;)

My favorite is the first one with Yellow and Blue. Please do let me know in comments which one you like the most :).
