Hello Everyone,
I'm stopping by to share this slimline Cat card using Crealies Chinese puzzle dies. Any Cat lovers out there??? The beauty of this puzzle dies is that you can make any shape of your choice, possibilities are just endless... Over to my card..
To make this card, I started with die cutting Black and Pink card stock using Chinese puzzle dies where I die cut out the pink card stock six times.
After that, I took slimline white card stock panel and first adhered the pieces of black card stock in the shape of cat using foam tape. Then, I arranged all the pink die cut out puzzle pieces around this cat image. Once I was satisfied, I glued these pieces.
Then, I die cut this panel using double stitched slimline dies and mounted it on white card base. For the sentiment, I first stamped it on white card stock, then die cut it using coordinating shadow dies and adhered to the panel using foam tape.
I added some tiny white hearts from the clover dies for the final touch up.
I hope you get inspired. You can find my another card using same puzzle dies here. I really like how this card turned out. I hope you like it too.
Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Love, love it and so will my new kitten-Bubbles! What a fun idea and love how you made such a graphic look to this and using pink is the perfect touch to this. What a fun way to make cards and thanks for celebrating with us at Time Out x
ReplyDeleteThis is a really fun card. It reminds me of the puzzles we used to bring with us to entertain our kids while we were at dinner. A bit of a math puzzle and brain teaser. Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out.
ReplyDeleteFantastic use of the tangram die! Your cat looks amazing, especially against that pink background. You really took advantage of the slimline shape.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link to that awesome die! I have the Tangram game and it includes so many shapes you can make with just those few shapes. So clever!! I may have to pick up that die.
Thanks for sharing at Cut it Up for our Black & White + a Pop of Color challenge!

ReplyDeleteI love cats and tangram :) It's a fabulous card! I have a tangram die and times ago I made some cards, enjoyed so much making them. Love the colours combo and the little hearts.
ReplyDeleteBut as DT of We Love Chocolate Baroque challenge I have to say that I'm sorry: your card isn't eligible, because the rules want A STAMP as focal point. Hope to see you joining us again with a stamped one.
Such an intricate die but as Alice mentions we are a stamping challenge.
